Obituary of Shawn Claude Paul

Shawn Claude Paul of Wabush, NL passed away peacefully at the age of 37 on February 15th, 2025, in Alberta while enjoying life to the fullest. Shawn will be remembered by his huge heart and big smile. His laughter will echo in the memories of his family and friends for years to come. He will also be remembered in the Scaffolding industry as someone who turned a tough day into a good laugh at work. He was full of life and adventure that took him skidooing, snowboarding, skydiving, boating, camping and in his younger days skateboarding. Most of all Shawn was a loving father who dedicated his life to his boys to give them new adventures and life skills. Shawn is survived by his two sons Marshall and Damien; Mother Gloria; brothers Jason (Coreen) and Garry; sisters Michelle "Joy" (Joe) and Leanne; nephews Evan and Brian; nieces Etana, Kennedy and Erin; the mother of his boys Shylowe; and a large circle of family and friends that he has made an impression on over the years. Shawn was preceded in death by his father William "Bill" Paul, brother Jay Paul; grandparents Claude and Gladys Paul and Gertie and Jimmy Mouland. Funeral service for Shawn will take place in Labrador City, NL, On Saturday March 1st at 2:00pm at the Salvation Army Church. In lieu of flowers you are welcomed to make a contribution to his children's trust fund for post-secondary education.
