Obituary of Adrian McCarthy

With great sadness, the family of the late Adrian McCarthy, age 73, announce his passing on Saturday, March 8th, 2025, at the Labrador West Health Center, surrounded by his loving family. Leaving to mourn are his daughters: Irene ( Pat) Carroll, Trudy (Michael, Jordan), and grandson Dylan Carroll (Abby). Siblings: Laura, Mary (William) Doyle, Barbara (Gerry) McGrath, Trix (Jerry) Leonard, Joan (Charles) Wiseman, Alice (Garry) Bowering, Martin, Kay (Rory) Mayo, Julian (Charlene), and a large circle of nephews, nieces, and extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Theresa; son Baby McCarthy; sister Irene; and brothers Brendan, Thomas, Colin, and Terrence. Special thanks to Dr. Hans and the Labrador West Health Center staff. Thanks also to the team of doctors and nursing staff at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, Seven West, for their compassionate care over the past six weeks. The visitation will take place Friday, March 14th, 2025, at Temple’s Funeral Home from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will occur on Saturday, March 15th, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Labrador City, NL. The service will be live-streamed from Temple’s Funeral Home's Facebook page. Flower's are welcomed.
