Even with miles apart and many years since we last saw each other Nick was one of my favourite cousins. I'll always miss my fun younger cousin who I spent many a summer and Christmas with. I wish that I could have seen him again before his passing.

Ah Nick...too soon buddy. You were one of my closest childhood friends, part of the Wabush crowd. Since kindergarten we went through all of school together. I only had to grab the photo album downstairs and on every other page there you are.
You introduced me to Iron Maiden & Megadeth. We spent years going to the Wabush gym. Halloweens all around town getting up to no good. Biking and spot light at the playground in the summer time. Snowmobile trips to my cabin at Star Lake that you LOVED. You and Barry introduced me to Ninja Turtles, looking at comics in your basement. Setting up for the spook trail at LCC - you brought in a real chainsaw but recorded the sound, then got so pissed at me (rightfully so) for starting it up for real! In my defence, you should have removed the gas.
My heart goes out to the family. You all treated me well growing up and I can’t count how many times I went back and forth between our houses on Grenfell. I still remember - 13 houses in between ours. I would count them when biking home.

We met in 2004 and rapidly hit it off and began dating. Back then we would do things like go buy a bunch of Doritos, mix them together and stay up all night watching movies. We found each other again in 2022, we thought it was fate bringing us back together, it was like we never lost a day. He was good to me and I miss him so bad. We had plans, they just never got to happen.

Heartbroken for you all. Rest in Peace, Nick - so many memories. Guitars, metal, the way you said "whammy bah" like in Wayne's World when you were a kid, your mischief as a little boy, and your sense of humour always. Car races, hockey, Arnie. Hundreds of little things from babysitting you to hearing about your new adventures, most recently in Baffin. Nick was responsible for introducing me to Iron Maiden, he and I spent many days lifting weights at the Wabush Rec center listening to heavy metal music. We rowed in the regatta together, played hockey together and even shared an apartment at one point. It saddens me beyond words to hear of his passing. Sending condolences to his family.
