Obituary of Brian Francis Collins

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brian Collins, a man whose warmth, wisdom, and unwavering kindness touched the lives of everyone he met. He departed this world suddenly on Monday, May 12th leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and selfless service. Whether you were family, a neighbor, or a stranger in need, he welcomed you with open arms and a generous heart. A man of remarkable skill and practical knowledge, Brian had an uncanny ability to fix anything—from a leaky faucet to a broken heart. He was the go-to expert for appliances, home repairs, and life advice, always ready with a tool in one hand and a smile in the other. But above all, he was a devoted and loving husband. His marriage to Zinamar was a beautiful testament to loyalty, partnership, and enduring love. Together, they built a life full of shared dreams, quiet strength, and joyful memories. Brian was predeceased by his father Edmund and Mother Margret, and leaves behind many who adored him; his wife Zinamar, brothers Aidan, Paul, Terry and Craig and Sisters Pat, Michele and Denise. As well as many In-laws Arsenia, Rodrigo, Norman, Mark Glen, and others. Though he may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in every life he touched and every lesson he taught. He will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever loved. Visitation for family and friends will take place from 2:00pm-4:00pm & 7:00pm-9:00pm on Thursday May 15, 2025, and from 10:00am-12:00pm on Friday May 16th, 2025, at Temple's Funeral Home. There will be a luncheon at the Knights of Columbus in Wabush, NL at 12:30pm on Friday May 16th, 2025, following the visitation. As per his wishs cremaion will be done and and a burial will take place in St. John's, NL at a later date. Details will be announce when available.
