Obituary of Shirley Tooktoshina

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Shirley Tooktoshina announce her passing on June 16, 2025 at the Health Science Centre surrounded by her family at the age of 64. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are husband Donald; son Bradley (Heather); granddaughters Brynn and Liv; mother Marina; sisters Hannah (Barry) and Evelyn (Larry); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Shirley was predeceased by her father David. Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm on Saturday June 21 2025, and 2:00-4:00pm on Sunday June 22 2025 at Temple’s Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Labrador City Interfaith Cemetery as a private family gathering. In lieu of flowers, anyone wishing to send expressions of sympathy can donate to the organization of their choice in Shirley’s name. A special thanks to all of the doctors, nurses and staff at the Labrador West Health Centre and the Health Science Centre.
