Obituary of Masie Elizabeth McLoughlan

Passed away suddenly on August 30th, 2025, at the Labrador West Health Centre, Masie McLoughlan, at the age of 64 years. She is survived by her beloved husband, Bill; mother, Pearl Crant; children, Jack(Kelley), and Amanda Philips(Jimmy); grandchildren, who were the absolute light of her life, Alexis & Alana, and the brightest shining star, her great-grandson Jaxon; siblings, Gord(Gai), Bertha, Phil(Eileen), Jane(Glen), Frank & Peggy; in-laws, Loretta(Peter), Mary, & John(Brenda); as well as a large circle of nieces & nephews. Notably, her godson Gregory, special niece Danielle, Patrick, Crystal, Devon, Megan & David, her Special friend Denise Crant, Nicole West(Alana's mother), Phoebe Young(Alexis's mother), along with many other relatives and friends. Masie was predeceased by her father, Jack; brothers-in-law John Warren & Dean Pike; and nephew Chris. Masie was born on July 20th, 1961, in Milltown, Bay D'Espoir. She later moved to Labrador City in 1993, where she met the love of her life, Bill. Together they built a loving home where their grandchildren and great grandson were spoiled with hugs, kisses, presents and spent many a special sleepover. Visitation and celebration of life will be held from 6:00-8:00pm at Temple's Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025 with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.
