Obituary of Glenda Mae Hiscock

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Glenda Mae Hiscock announce her passing on January 22, 2026 at St. Claire's Mercy Hospital in St. John's, NL. Left to mourn with many cherished memories are her spouse, Steven Pittman; children, Nicole (Grant), Luke (Mikayla); granddaughter, Ariana; father, Albert (Linda); siblings Roxanne (Josh), Natasha (Jim), Arlene (Rodney); fur-baby girlie, Angel; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Glenda was predeceased by her mother Gloria, and her husband Elvis. Glenda was a kind soul with a beautiful smile. She loved the outdoors especially her time at the cabin with family and friends. Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm on Thursday, January 29th, 2026, at Temple's Funeral Home. The family would like to say thank-you to the nursing staff at the Labrador West Health Center, as well the doctors and nurses at St. Claire's Hospital, for all the care and compassion shown to Glenda during her time there. Also thank-you to everyone who have reached out during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers the family requests that you make a donation to the Ronald McDonald House in Glenda's memory.
