Obituary of Wallace Monston Lilly

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Wallace Lilly announce his passing on April 11th, 2026, at the age of 82. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Dorothy; daughter Christine and husband Eddie, who he treated like his own since he was 15; granddaughter Olivia, his girl whom he visited daily; special young man, Tyson Martin, who he was like a father to and his sister Megan Martin; special family friends Melanie & Jude and son James, who he was a pop to; brothers Eric (Pearl), Wilson (Nellie), Allister (Linda), Lloyd (Cynthia); nephew Maurice (Karen) who was like his little brother; sister Kathleen Gover-Cole (Orville); as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Wallace was predeceased by his parents Eric & Cedilla Lilly; in-laws Aubrey & Verna Pilgrim; nephew Colin Lilly; and brother-in-law Bob Gover. Funeral Service for Wallace will be held at 2pm on Friday, April 17th, 2026, at the Catholic Church in Wabush, with Reverend Rowena Payne officiating. The family would like thank Dr. Poonham and all the nurses at the Labrador West Health Center. Big thank-you to Brud and his family for all they did for Uncle Wal and Brett's kids for the joy they brought him.
