Obituary of Boyd Turnbull

On August 13, 1970, there was a bouncing baby boy brought into the world, lives, and home of his parents John and Annie Turnbull and his siblings. Boyd was the 5th child of six children. Boyd was an individual who had some health challenges but loved to keep active. He loved to listen to music and often would be seen going around with his ghetto-blaster listening to some of his favorite tunes. There were times when the family would visit their summer home in Dead Islands and Boyd would try to get his music going but could not pick up reception. Due to no reception he would wrap wire around his ghetto-blaster and there it came; tunes like never before. He was an employee of the Labrador Shrimp Fishers Union, as a laborer. Later in his journey of life, he purchased his first vehicle and he would travel the coast just for the fun and the enjoyment of it. Boyd would love to put the rubber to the metal - he loved the venture of the road. There were many loved ones and friends in his life but he truly treasured his nieces and nephews and spending time with them. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him, but will never be forgotten - always loved and remembered by his mom, siblings, family, and friends.
