David was born in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL and was raised in Labrador City. In his early years, David worked as a hunting and fishing guide. He often recounted stories of all the people he met and the fish they caught. In 2003, David started working at the Iron Ore Company of Canada, having various roles over the years. He enjoyed his career, especially all the people he met along the way. David loved everything outdoors, especially skidooing, fishing, and spending time at the cabin with his family and many friends. His greatest love was for his two children, Mitchell and Meredith and his wife, Carolyn. David was a kind, generous and loving man who always had a smile and he will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
