Obituary of Marion Stella Hope

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marion Stella Hope (nee Petten) announce her passing on Sunday, March 26th 2023, at the Labrador West Health Center at the age of 72. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband Paul; children Christopher(Mikhaela) Hope, Nicole(Barry) Hope; grandchild Whitney Shea Hearn-Hope; brother Boyd Petten; sisters Daphne(Frank) Hender, Myrtle(Ern) Fowler; brothers-in-law Cephas(Agnes) Hope, Willis Hope, Larry Hope, Fred(Jenneane) Hope, Nelson(Corina) Hope; sisters-in-law Irene(Rick) Webber, Cora(Mike) Best, Sevilla(Dave) Hope, Virginia(Wayne) Hope; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Marion was predeceased by her parents Nicholas & Florence Petten; Baby Sister Petten; father-in-law Frank Hope; and brother-in-law Stephen Hope. Friends may visit Temple's Funeral Home on Sunday, April 2nd 2023 from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 3rd 2023, at 3:00 pm at St. Paul's Anglican Church in Labrador City with Reverend Rowena Payne officiating. Interment to follow at the Labrador City Cemetery. The family would like to send thanks to the nurses and staff of the Labrador West Health Center for the amazing care and compassion that was given during her short stay. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to either the local mental health and addictions charity or Heart & Stroke Foundation in Marion's memory. She had a kind heart whose smile would light up a room. She loved her family with her whole heart and soul.
