Sincere condolences to you, Bonnie, and your family for the loss of a beloved man of many talents. A sudden death is especially grievous, and my hearts goes out to you. I remember Tommy as a handsome, dignified young man, and wish I'd known him throughout his life. What a wonderfully written tribute to him. It reflects such love and admiration for his essence and accomplishments. We so admired our Spurrell cousins who we visited on Blackmarsh Road in St. John's when we were children. Our father, his Uncle Joe Spurrell, was also an avid fly fisherman who made his own flies. I hope the richness of Tom's contribution to your lives will sustain you in the days ahead. You'll be in our thoughts and hearts as we share with other family members. Rest in Peace, cousin.
