Obituary of Evelyn Millidge Canning

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Evelyn Millidge Canning announce her passing on July 28th, 2023, at the age of 90 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are children Althea (Otto), Kay (Lloyd), Perry (Andrea), Shirley (Joe) and Keith (Melissa). Loving grandchildren and great grandchildren include Jason, Linda (Denis), Shane, Jennifer (Alberto), Amy (Dan), Justin (Cassondra), Sarah (Denis), Drew (Josh) and Brett with grandchildren Kaleigh, Keisha, Nicholas W., Emily-Claire, Heather, Nicholas A., Benjamin, Vivienne, Kylie, Savannah, Alexander, Jack, Abigail, Paisley; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Evelyn was predeceased by parents Susannah Sarah and Arthur Nicholas, siblings Violet, Maxwell, Audrey, twin brother Robert, daughter Joan and husband Eugene. Friends and family may visit at Temple's Funeral Home on Sunday July 30th, 2023, from 6:00-9:00pm. Funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, July 31st, 2023, at Saint Paul's Anglican Church in Labrador City. Cremation will take place following the service with interment at a later date. The funeral service will be live streamed from Temple's Funeral Home Facebook page. The family is grateful for the care and comfort offered by the exemplary staff at the Labrador West Health Care Center.
