Obituary of Silas John Noel

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Silas John Noel announce his passing on September 12, 2023, at the age of 61. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Selma; children Dawson and Kristina; brothers Alex Noel, Freeman Noel (Shelly Sheppard); sisters Katie Ward, Carrie Green, Leah (Clayton) Lyall, Barbara (Rick) Regular, Susie (Tim) Rumbolt, Melvina Noel; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Silas was predeceased by his parents George and Laura Noel; brothers George Noel, and Ralph Noel; and nephew Justin Noel. Visitation will take place on Sunday, September 17, 2023, from 7:00-9:00 pm at Temple’s Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, September 18, 2023, at Glad Tiding Pentecostal Church with Pastor Shannon Meade officiating. Cremation to follow. Silas was a loving husband, devoted father, and dedicated friend. He was a Christian man who lived his life serving God. While the last few months were very challenging for him, he never ever swayed from his beliefs. His presence in our lives was a beacon of joy and laughter, and his memory will be etched in our hearts forever.
