So many memories come flooding back over the years growing up in Labrador with all the family dinners and her delicious salad that tasted like dessert (one with marshmellows/coconut etc) still my favorite to this day! Her kind heart was always evident, the time we all travelled to Fogo and they both gave up the beds so we could sleep in them while they both slept in chairs in the living room....they wouldn't take no as an answer. She had a wonderful laugh and loved telling stories. I have a small treasure she let us pick out in Fogo a milk/sugar set for tea that I will use to think of her. I was hoping to get back to Fogo again one summer now that the kids are older, will still have to go but it won't be the same without Aunt Edith.
Many hugs to Uncle Phelyman, Craig, Angela, Dion and their families. Thinking of you all and holding you in our thoughts during this time.

When Roslyn and I heard of Aunt Edith's passing our hearts were crushed.
She will always be remembered as a soft spoken caring and positive woman that loved her family, especially Pleman, or Ray as others would call him. We will never forget the visits she made to Twillingate throughout the years and how she never had a negative word to say but always a beautiful smile. Aunt Edith, you will be missed but never forgotten.

I was so shocked and deeply saddened after hearing off Edith passing, she will be forever loved and missed.
My thoughts go to the last time that we saw each other, and I feel so much joy from running into you Angela, and Edith in St. John's this past October. We did so much laughing at your reaction at seeing us on the parking lot Angela, I will always cherish the memory of having had Supper with you and Edith and then seeing both of you again at Breakfast the next morning. I truly have no words to express how shocked and saddened I am to hear of Edith's passing. I have only known her for a short time in a professional capacity, but it was clear to see how sweet and gentle of a soul she was, and how very dear her family was to her.
