I have known Steve since 1993 when I first went to work in the IOC warehouse. In those 30ish years he has been a mentor, a coworker and a friend to me while I was in the union. He was a loyal, diligent and immensely reliable employee to me once I joined the management team. He endured his illness with a dignity that amazed me. All in all he was a great guy and I am proud to have known him. Rest in peace my friend.

I would like to send my sincere condolences to Steve’s wife, children and extended family and friends. I met Steve at work and even though I’ve only known him a short time he made me feel like we were old friends. His smile was infectious and he was very prideful in his work. I feel blessed to have gotten to know him. Rest easy Steve. You are truly missed.

My condolences to Melinda and family , I remember Stephen well from High School , quiet , shy and probably the best looking guy in school . He took me to my prom ( I had to ask him of course) . RIP Stephen fly with the angels my old friend . Melinda trust me when I say the greater the love the greater the grief ( having gone through the same case scenario myself ) I feel your pain . My heart reaches out to you and the family .

Melinda, Jillian, Kevin. I have known Stephen & the Myers family for over 50 years. I knew Stephen at LCC & at work in the Warehouse. He had a great sense of humour, a great smile & could always find something to smile about. He worshipped his family and truly liked his friends. May his memory bring a smile to your faces. No more pain Stephen. Rest in Peace my friend.

Melinda, Jillian and Kevin. I have no words to describe the immense void left by Steve’s passing. He was an amazing man, father and friend. I remember the first time meeting him 22 years ago. He was such a quiet and shy man. I wondered how it was going to work as Melinda was such an outgoing and not so quiet person. It wasn’t long before I saw his true personality. The fun loving, caring, funny, sweet and amazing man that our family grew to love and adore. He was such a light in the world. His “hey sweetie” every time we met always made me feel so cared for. We all came to love and appreciate Steve so much. He was always up for anything. His ability to take a joke as well as give them will always make me smile. I have so many amazing memories of Steve and I will cherish them forever. My heart is with all of you in the coming days.
