We, the O’Brien and Ennis families of Holyrood, are deeply saddened by Paul’s passing. Since his childhood he has been a very close friend to our family and indeed was thought of as a family member. He grew up with us and has been a lifelong friend. He was especially close with the boys, Bill, Jack and Dave. When we lived in Labrador City our families spent lots of time together. On their visits home he and Jean always made their rounds to visit as many of us as they could. He was a true and loyal friend to many people. We wish to express our deepest sympathy to his sons Wally and Jody and their families as well as to his siblings Joseph, Bill, Sis and Cathy Ann and their families. His loss leaves a huge void in all of their lives and in ours as well. May he rest in peace with Jean and family gone before him. Tom & Theresa Ennis

Sending heartfelt condolences to Paul’s family, especially his chilldren; Wally, Jody, and their families; his siblings, Joe, Billy, Sis , Cathy Ann and their families, and all others who knew and loved him. Paul was definitely a family man, and I am sure you all have a plethora of special memories that will keep him in your hearts forever. Mr Kelly was my hockey coach for years and years. I can't count how many times the family had me into their home. He was a great man and will be missed by everyone who met him. My heart goes out to the family and loved ones. Brian Porter

Jody, Wally and all the Kelly family, I’m sorry to hear of Paul’s passing. Paul was a very friendly person. I know family meant everything to him. Every time Paul came home (Holyrood) he always made time to visit his aunts Aggie, Beth and Mary. Mom ( Aggie) always loved to see Paul and his wife Jean. She would always say that Paul always makes time for a visit or two when he comes up. I’m sure you all have wonderful memories of Paul and your memories will help you get through this sad time.
