Obituary of Paul Joseph Kelly

Paul Joseph Kelly Paul was born on October 9th, 1950. He Grew up in Holyrood, NL and went on to complete his Millwright trade in St. John’s before settling in Wabush, NL where he worked with Wabush Mines for almost 39 years. Paul was predeceased by his loving parents, Joseph Kelly and Mary Kelly (Sullivan). He was also predeceased by his loving wife Jean. Left to mourn are his sons, Jody (Dana), and Wally. Brothers, Joseph, William (Bill), and sisters Mary (Sis) and Cathy Ann. Paul was also very proud of his grandchildren, Cordelia, Riley, Allie and Andrew. He will be forever loved and missed by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a large circle of friends. Paul was a loving husband, proud father and grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a coach and mentor to many over the years through sports and work. A hard worker and always willing to lend a hand. He was a strong believer in community and church. Visitation will occur on Wednesday, May 29th, 2024 at Our Lady of Assumption RC Church in Wabush, NL from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm. Funeral service will take place at Our Lady of Assumption RC Church on Thursday, May 30th, 2024 at 2:00pm followed by burial at the Wabush Cemetery. The service will be live streamed from Temple's Funeral Home facebook page. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Labrador West Foodbank.
